Rodd Hotels and Resorts offers a wide variety of professional development opportunities to their staff.  The chain is working toward certifying all of its housekeeping staff and supervisors with emerit® professional certification.  Upon successful completion of emerit® certification, employees receive a wage increase.  Other professional development opportunities include general staff training and in-house supervisory courses offered on a variety of topics. Cross-training is also available to any employee who would like to work in another department.
